Well, the big night is just weeks away and we still haven't decided on costumes for this year. I can't believe it, we always have them picked out by now! We've been looking at Halloween Online for ideas and Adult Halloween Costumes and Costume Kingdom for ideas. We have found plenty of good costumes and ideas on making some unique costumes but nothing is grabbing us this year so far.
We did see a great movie the other night, Trick 'r Treat is the name. It was made in 2007 but never released until now, on DVD. It would have been great on the big screen! Anyway, the main character of "Little Sam", the demon trick 'r' treater kid, would make a GREAT costume ...... for someone small.
I'm thinking about doing a witch costume this year or maybe a ghost. Spooky, I don't know what he wants to be this year. Anyway, we don't have long to figure this one out!

We have our costume choices sort of made for this year, maybe you do too. But what about the kids? Choosing costumes for your kids is a hard task. You should let them start picking out their own when they start to show an interest but with your approval on them. As they get older, the costume choices may get more daring or more gory and it's up to each parent to decide how far to let it go.
Some kids are very shy, even when they get into their teens. They may want a costume that has full coverage, like a ghost, super hero, zombie, anything that comes with a full face cover. Our son, last year, went as a very creepy gorilla. It had a full face mask that hung down to his waist! He was 17 last year and he's still a bit shy around large groups of people, takes after his mother that way. The point is, let them choose what they are comfortable with and they'll love Halloween forever! Don't force them to wear a costume that you like, wear it yourself! let them decide what they want to be and if it's within reason then no problem.
I found a new Halloween costume site that you might want to check out, Costumes for Kids. They have costume ideas for kids 5 years through about 17 years. Very cool!

It's never to early to start shopping for Halloween costumes and Costume Kingdom has a great selection and the best customer service we've found. You'll like the wide selection of costumes that suite any need and all the accessories that go with them! Last year we got my mom three Nun costumes and her and two friends went as singing Nuns! It was a hoot! These ladies are all in their 60's & 70's! They also used them for a talent show at their Methodist church that got a standing ovation!
They have this great gorilla costume, the head on that thing hangs down to the waist and looks like a screaming, mad gorilla! We got that for my 17 year old nephew and he had a riot with it, scaring the girls at the Halloween parties he went to with his friends. He'll have that costume the rest of his life, it's that well made! I can picture him grown with kids of his own, chasing them around in it.

We got a beautiful set of Devil and his Lady costumes from them last year for us. They were just beautiful! The Lady Devil was all satin and lace and deep red and black, I got a long red hair devil wig that had horns attached to it and that's all I needed. Spooky, he was Satan himself, all dapper in his suite with vest, cape and horns. I did a all makeup on him to give him Jack Nicholson eye brows, he looked positively demonic! We were the hit of the Halloween party!
What ever you want to be this Halloween, what ever you decide your Halloween costume should be, please check this place out, they are the best on the Net!

Trying to figure out what to wear for Halloween seems to get harder the more years go by! You get comfortable with a costume, like a vampire couple or ghost couple and that's what you wear year after year. This past Halloween we decided it was time for something different! We decided to wear a devil couples costume set that we found at an online store. They were expensive, running about $150.00 each. They were well worth it. The ladies costume was a long gown in deep red satin with black lace over its skirt. I wore a long red wig with horns already attached and that really made the costume pop! The guy's costume consisted of a top piece that had a vest, cape and shirt. Black jeans finished it off along with fake horns and a makeup job by yours truly. We really looked great together and since it was our 24th wedding anniversary, we looked so the cool couple! We found the ideas at Halloween Online and Adult Halloween Costumes.
Now we will have to figure out if we want to use them again for this Halloween, our 25th anniversary, when we renew our vows. Oh well, at least we have plenty of time to think about it!

We've decided on our costumes for this year. We planned on hitting every costume party in Vegas this year but only made it to one, we had so much fun we stayed all night. It was at the Red Rock Casino, great place! We didn't take any prizes but we had fun just the same.
Spooky was a fine looking Jack Sparrow and I was a passable Elizabeth Swan in a pirate attire as opposed to dress, not original by any means but we did look good. There was an over abundance of pirates to be seen, from the Pirates movies to just your rouge wenches and scoundrels. Vampires, monsters, mostly fun costumes not scarry. We should have looked for a more Goth club to go to and used different costumes, we usually like gorey better anyway.
We'll go for more gorey costumes on Halloween night, we have our annual haunt and party. The more blood the better, we always say! Check out Adult Halloween Costumes for costume ideas!
